What Is a WhatsApp Form?

A WhatsApp Form lets a customer fill out a proper form — with text fields, drop-downs, and multiple-choice questions, without ever leaving their WhatsApp chat. Instead of asking questions one at a time, you send a single form and collect everything in a single submission.

Overview

In Onbbits, you build a Form using a screen-and-field editor: give it a name, add one or more screens, and drop in the elements you need, like headings, body text, and input fields like Short Answer, Long Answer, Dropdown, Single Choice, and Multiple Choice.

Key Concepts

A Form moves through three possible statuses: Draft while you’re building it, Submitted once it’s been sent to Meta and is live, and Cancelled if it’s manually cancelled. Only Submitted forms can collect entries from customers.
