A Reminder schedules a Template message to send to a contact automatically, at a date and time you choose. Instead of remembering to follow up yourself, you set it once from a chat and Onbbits sends it for you.
You can set a Reminder from an open Live chat or from a conversation in History. When setting it up, you pick an approved Template, fill in any required variables, and choose the date and time it should send.
Every Reminder you’ve scheduled — sent, upcoming, or cancelled — shows up on the central Reminder page, along with who scheduled it and its current status.
A few examples of how businesses use Reminders:
Reminders can only use an approved Template, not a plain text message. Since a Reminder might fire hours or days later, there’s no way to know whether the 24-hour customer service window will still be open at that point.
Once a Reminder is scheduled, it can’t be edited. If the details need to change, cancel it and set up a new one.
